Menu/Master Data/Edit User Defined Processes
User defined processes can be assigned to environments. They can be executed in
the assigned environment before and/or after a promotion. For system i processes,
you can specify if the process should run once per promotion or once per object
promotion.

 Platform pendent options
Windows: This will be the file executed by the default application. The flag Wait for
process to end will make the promotion process wait until the user defined process
has ended and then continue. To test the process you can start it with the grid icon
‘start process’.
System i: Specify library and program name. The server name is optional. If empty
the process is run on the server of the assigned environment. The execution option
specifies if the process should run once per promotion or once per object promotion.
